Holiday Inn Club Vacations - Tahoe Ridge Resort, Stateline

The hotel was easy to find and looked and smelled clean. The room, though spacious with a sofa and dining chair, struggled to cool down below 80 degrees. The service was very helpful, especially in guiding me to nearby hiking trails. The location was fantastic, next to ski and winter activities as well as close to Heavenly and South Tahoe. The dining was not included but the nearby Red Hut offered good options. The facilities were decent, though some room improvements are needed.

The hotel's location is fantastic, close to the Stagecoach Lift but away from the lake's craziness, and our suite with a large balcony was great. The rooms were pleasant, with a full kitchen and large living room, but unfortunately under the main entrance walkway. Service from staff like Aaron in guest services and Louis in Maintenance was outstanding, but some early morning disturbances occurred. The dining options were cool but not ideal due to limited hours, and the facilities had good tours/ticket assistance.

My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was spacious and comfortable, although different than expected with no AC and some bed stains. The service was generally good, even though a bit slow at times. The location was fantastic for outdoor enthusiasts, but posed some initial challenges in finding the hotel. The dining experience was decent, albeit a bit lacking for the price paid. Overall, a hotel with potential but with some room for improvement.
